Viridor has submitted their bid for the South Lanarkshire Waste PPP project.
This involves a construction contract for a disposal and treatment facility which will sort around 100,000 tonnes of waste each year. The construction is scheduled to start on 1 December 2011 and will last for 2 years and 4 months. The facility is to be operated for 25 years.
Operis provided the financial model auditing services including a tax and accounting review on behalf of Viridor and South Lanarkshire Council.
