The Halton Transformational Partnership, consisting of Hochtief, Vinci and Galliford Try, achieved financial close on 21 June 2011 on the Halton BSF PFI project.
The project involves the expansion and renovation of The Grange and Wade Deacon schools in Halton near Liverpool, where the Grange is procured on a PFI basis and Wade Deacon on a design build basis. Construction on the Grange is expected to last around two years, with the concession continuing for a further 25 years beyond construction.
Aviva provided £25 million of senior debt for the project.
Operis provided financial model auditing services as well as a tax and accounting review for Aviva and Halton Transformational Partnership.
