Phase 2 of the Salford and Wigan Building Schools for Future Programme reached financial close on 17 November 2011.
The current phase involves the build of four news schools the Moorside Campus, St Ambrose Barlow High School, St Patrick’s High School and St Patrick’s Arts College. Constructions is expected to be completed by September 2013, with the project concession running until September 2038. Bank debt has been provided by Nord LB.
Operis has previously worked on the Phase 1 of Salford & Wigan BSF. On this occasion, Operis provided financial model auditing services and a tax and accounting review on behalf of the lender and the project sponsor.
