The Newbury and Thatcham Hospital project in West Berkshire reached financial close in July 2002.  Construction work for the 60-bed community hospital began in the second half of 2002 and was completed in January 2004.  The Newbury & Thatcham Hospital Building Trust is contracted to operate and maintain the hospital for a 30 year operation period.

Operis has previously been engaged to build and audit the financial model. In November 2011, Operis completed the fifth phase of reforcasting with this financial model.
