The Turks and Caicos Islands Hospitals Project closed on the 11th January 2008.
The Turks and Caicos government has requested a pair of hospitals to be built, one on the Grand Turks island and the other on Providenciales. Once built this is likely to be the islands’ most substantial hospital with 60 beds in total and many valuable services that were previously unavailable to the local population including X-Ray machines and a sophisticated Accident and Emergency unit. Services will be provided by Interhealth Canada.
Operis built the financial model and provided financial advice throughout procurement and negotiation phases from January 2006 to the present.
