Operis recently completed the model audit of Balfour Beatty’s operating model for the Hertfordshire Building Schools for the Future PFI project.
The project involves the rebuilding and remodelling of the Marriotts and Lonsdale schools in Stevenage. These two schools are part of a three school contract worth £80 million to awarded to Balfour Beatty, the investment, construction and maintenance firm.
Financial close was reached in January 2011, and following the end of construction in August 2012 Balfour Beatty asked Operis to complete an operating model audit. Operis have worked together with Balfour Beatty at all stages of the project so far: offering a high level review for the bid, a formal audit for financial close, and now an operating model audit following the end of construction.
