Operis developed a financial model to help structure and raise financing for the Éoliennes Belle-Rivière Wind Farm, which reached financial close in February 2020. The six-turbine, 24 MW wind farm, developed by Algonquin Power and Val-Eo, is located in the Lac-Saint-Jean region in Quebec, Canada.
Energy will be sold through a 20-year power purchase agreement with Hydro-Quebec Distribution, providing clean power to the local residents in the region.
Operis’ financial model helped structure and size the senior financing for this project, which was comprised of a medium-term bank loan and long term bonds.
