Affinity submitted a bid to support the delivery of Ascent’s UK Military Flying Training System with a Fixed Wing Training Fleet on June 30, 2014.
Ascent is a training design and delivery organisation created as a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Babcock International. Appointed as the UK MoD’s Training Service Partner in 2008, Ascent has a 25-year contract to provide a Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS) for the UK’s Armed Forces.
In 2013, Ascent selected Affinity, comprising Elbit Systems and KBR, as preferred bidders for the provision and maintenance of a fleet of fixed-wing aircrafts to the UKMFTS.
In support of Affinity’s bid, Operis undertook a financial model audit and a full accounting review.
