On May 16, 2017, Samsung has reached financial close on the Gaziantep Health Campus project. The project is a Turkish PPP which comprises the construction of a 1867 bed hospital in Gaziantep, located in south-eastern Turkey. The integrated healthcare campus includes a general hospital other specialist services, including oncology, cardiovascular diseases, women’s and children’s health.
Korea Eximbank, EIB and EBRD provided debt facilities for the €602 million project and construction is expected to take three years followed by a 28-year concession.
