Final bids were submitted on June 10, 2013, for the Zaanstad Prison project.
The project involves the development of a 50,000sq ft correctional facility site in the Zaanstad region of The Netherlands. Once completed, it will comprise 624 two-person cells.
The preferred bidder is expected to be announced in July 2013, with construction set to begin shortly afterwards.
Operis carried out a full model audit for Ballast Nedam, one of the two vying bidders.
