The West Dunbartonshire Schools PFI Project successfully reached financial close on 21 January 2008.
The £115 million project involves the design, build, finance and operation of six schools on four campuses in central Scotland.
Construction has begun on the six schools, Clydebank High School, St Peter the Apostle High School, St Eunan’s Primary School, Dumbarton Academy, Vale of Leven Academy Primary and Secondary Schools. The first operations will start in 2009 with final construction completing by 2012.
Dutch group BAM PPP was been chosen by West Dunbartonshire Council as preferred bidder and Dexia are the senior lenders.
Operis was engaged to provide financial model due diligence services, providing opinion to Dexia, BAM and WDC.
