Viridor is to proceed with the construction and operation of Avonmouth Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), a £252 million facility. Located near to Bristol, the facility will convert over 300,000 tonnes of waste each year to generate 33MW. Construction is scheduled to start in 2017, and operations will commence in 2020.
