Balfour Beatty has submitted its bid to the Edinburgh City Council for the construction and financing of a student accommodation project at the University of Edinburgh.
The project comprises the construction of 1,150 bedrooms of student accommodation at two Holyrood Road sites in Edinburgh. The accommodation will mainly be used by post-graduate students, and includes an Outreach centre which includes space for leisure and retail facilities. Construction is due to start March 2013.
Operis’s role was to conduct a high-level review of the bidder’s financial model prior to bid submission.
