Scout Moor, a wind farm in Lancashire, reached financial close in December 2006.
Scout Moor Wind Farm Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) owned by Peel Windpower Ltd was a £70m project financed by Barclays Bank.
The project was to construct and operate a 65MW wind farm located between Edenfield and Whitworth on the Rossendale/Rochdale border.
There will be 26 turbines, each 100 meters tall which can generate sufficient electricity for 51,000 homes.
Operis served as model auditor for the project.
