In September 2008, Indaver and NIBC European Infrastructure Fund reached financial close of the acquisition of the SAV Waste Management Group. This new combination of Indaver and the SAV group forms one of Europe’s leading waste management companies for the management and treatment of special waste streams.
SAV operates facilities for the treatment of hazardous waste at six locations in Germany. In Biebesheim and Hamburg the company operates two high-temperature incineration facilities, HIM GmbH and AVG Abfall-Verwertungs-Gesellschaft mb, respectively.
In the area of hazardous waste. SAV provides all services for industrial customers from logistics through to final treatment. Furthermore, SAV is successfully working in the area of site remediation in Germany and abroad.
Operis has been contracted to build an operating Model for SAV for the purpose of monitoring the business’s performance.
