Fotowatio S.L., a global provider of solar power generation, has submitted its bid in the second round of the Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme in South Africa for the Sanval photovoltaic energy plant project.
This procurement programme is working toward a target of 3725 MW of renewable energy production in the country, in an attempt to start and stimulate the renewables industry. This plant is predicted to produce 75MW of energy.
Operis performed a model audit on the model on behalf of Investec, Fotowatio and the South African Department of Energy, which included a full tax and accounting review.
