Operis previously provided financial model audit services to Invesis in connection with the second lot of the ‘Scholen van Vlaanderen’ DBFM programme. Operis’ work included an independent review of the financial model and its key assumptions, calculations and outputs.
Scholen op Maat (SOM), the partnership between Invesis and Belfius signed a contract with the Flemish Community to deliver a large-scale school construction programme in the Belgium’s Flemish Region, representing an investment of approximately EUR 500 million. The design, build, finance and maintain (DBFM) programme comprises 38 schools and will create capacity for more than 20,000 pupils. Under the DBFM agreement, the private sector partner will deliver and maintain the schools over a thirty-year term.
