Operis has completed a review of the valuation model used for Southern Water.
Southern Water supplies drinking water to more than one million households and treats and recycles wastewater from nearly two million households across Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. On a daily basis Southern Water: supplies 552 million litres of drinking water from 95 water treatment works; and treats and recycles 1,400 million litres of wastewater at 373 treatment works.
Greensands Holdings acquired a significant stake in the company in 2009 and updated their valuation model which they asked Operis to undertake an audit of.
