Embraport, a venture of Odebrecht TransPort in partnership with DP World and Coime, has achieved financial close for the port terminal located at Santos, Brazil.
The new port terminal will be capable of handling both containers and liquid bulk. Construction is expected to last until 2013, with operations continuing until 2030.
The project is financed by loans from the Inter-American Development Bank and West LB.
Operis was appointed by WestLB and the lenders to provide financial model auditing services that included a tax and accounting review.
