This project involves the construction of a 50MW biomass power plant in the old dockland area of Newport, south Wales. It will supply power to around 50,000 homes. The plant will employ the best available technology and talent in order to comply with its green energy targets.
Financial close is expected to occur in March 2012, and for this, Operis have reviewed the financial model on behalf of a large European bank who is looking to invest in project.
