Operis recently completed a model audit of Balfour Beatty’s operating model for the Birmingham New Hospitals PFI project.
The project involved the building of a new hospital to replace the existing Queen Elizabeth and Selly Oak Hospitals, with further provision of mental health facilities. The project reached financial close in June 2006 and became fully operational this summer. Balfour Beatty will continue to maintain the hospital until August 2046.
The model audit was performed for the benefit of Balfour Beatty Capital and the project lenders. This is the latest in a series of models which Operis has audited on behalf of Balfour Beatty.
