Operis acted as financial advisors for Interhealth Canada Limited on the Independent Sector Treatment Centre Cheshire and Merseyside project which closed in January 2005.
Operis provided all the financial advisory services including financial structuring, financial modelling, debt advisory and tax advice to the shareholders. Total finance for the project was £50m. As part of the project, a new hospital will be built in Halton in Cheshire which will be funded by a mixture of equity, subordinated debt and equity, Interhealth will then employ all the staff at the facility and undertake many thousands of surgical procedures over the 5 years of the post-construction contract. The also involved complex tax advice provided by Operis.
