Operis acted as financial advisers to Community Solutions for Primary Care (Morgan Sindall, Apollo Medical Partners and Barclays European Infrastructure Fund) on the East Hampshire NHS LIFT project. The transaction was signed between East Hampshire Primary Care Trust and Fareham & Gosport Primary Care Trust and CSPC for a 20-year LIFT deal to provide primary health and social care facilities in south-east Hampshire.
Morgan Sindall’s construction business, Bluestone, is the design and construct framework partner for the deal. The construction work is expected to total some £75m over the next five years. This was a complex transaction which was funded by senior debt provided by Barclays and subordinated debt and equity provided by the shareholders. Operis provided financial structuring, financial modelling, tax advice and bid strategy advice throughtout the process.
