Operis provided financial model due diligence services for Carillion’s bid for Woodstock General Hospital, a healthcare P3 in Woodstock, Ontario.
Three pre-qualified bidders submitted proposals mid-June, with construction anticipated to begin by the preferred proponent by the end of 2008. Other bidders included teams led by EllisDon and Plenary Group.
Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care are working with Woodstock General Hospital to develop a replacement hospital. The new 178-bed, 350,000ft facility will provide a high quality healing environment for its patients with improved patient comfort, a full-range of clinical services, and the latest technologies in bedside services and communications.
Operis reviewed the model developed by National Bank Financial, and will continue to support Carillion through to financial close should they be appointed preferred proponent.
