Olympia Odos, the concession company for the EKPPT motorway project in Greece has achieved financial close on the restructuring of its debt facilities.
The project involves the construction of a 2×2 lane motorway from Korinthos to Patras and from Patras to Tsakona and the maintenance of existing motorway from Elefsina to Korinthos. This transaction was originally signed in 2008.
The European Investment Bank is providing new funding, alongside additional funding from a conglomerate of international and Greek banks. Olympia Odos was advised by Deutsche Bank and Norton Rose Fulbright.
