Olympia Odos, the concession company for the EKPPT motorway project in Greece has achieved financial close on a further restructuring of its debt facilities, required due to delays in the construction programme.
The project involves the construction of a 2×2 lane motorway from Korinthos to Patras and from Patras to Tsakona and the maintenance of existing motorway from Elefsina to Korinthos. This transaction, originally signed in 2008, was previously restructured in 2013. The funders for the project include the European Investment Bank alongside a conglomerate of international and Greek banks.
