On July 23, 2018, Octopus Investments completed the refinancing of their Melton Renewable Energy Portfolio. The portfolio is made up of 5 biomass plants and 22 landfill sites, with a combined generational capacity of 172MW.
The refinancing, totalling £174 million, is comprised of a £152 million term loan, a £10 million revolving credit facility and a £12 million debt service reserve facility. The funding was provided by Natwest, HSBC, AIB, Investec, Barclays and Banco de Sabadell.
