Bids have been submitted for the N25 New Ross Bypass Scheme, located in the south of the Republic of Ireland.
The project, which comprises the construction of approximately 16 kilometres of new road on sections of both the N25 and N30, is estimated to cost €217 million and is anticapted to be the first one in Ireland to utilise a Project Bond Credit Enhancement from the European Investment Bank.
As one of of four PPPs announced in July 2012, the winning bidder will be required to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the aforementioned sections of road for an expected period of 25 years upon the completion of construction.
In support of the BANBA consortium’s bid, Operis were pleased to undertake a high level review of their model, including a review of the model’s tax & accounting treatments.
