What attracted you to Operis?
What attracted me to Operis was its strong reputation in infrastructure and project finance, particularly its expertise in financial modelling, analytics, and advisory. The firm’s involvement in complex, high-impact projects across multiple geographies aligns with my goal of making a meaningful difference in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Another key factor which drew me to Operis is the team culture. From everything I have seen and heard, Operis has built a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and supports professional development.
Joining the Advisory team, in particular, gives me the opportunity to contribute at a senior level where I can help shape outcomes and engage directly with decision-makers. I am excited about working with the team at Operis. For me, it’s the perfect blend of strategic advisory, technical excellence, collaborative environment and global impact.
What will you be focusing on in your new role?
In my new role as Director, Advisory at Operis, I’ll be focused on leading and delivering advisory mandates, particularly in the infrastructure and project finance space — helping clients navigate complex financial, commercial, and transactional challenges. A key part of this will involve working closely with sponsors, lenders, and other stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Beyond deal execution, I’m also looking forward to contributing to the growth of the advisory practice by expanding Operis’s presence in the market, supporting team development and bringing additional commercial insights and innovation in our advisory approaches.
What are you most excited about working on first?
I’m most excited to work first on a live advisory mandate where I can apply my expertise to deliver optimal financing solutions for clients and collaborative with the wider Operis team. Specifically, I look forward to engaging with complex infrastructure and energy projects, helping to structure deals that manage risk effectively. At the same time, I am eager to start building relationships internally, getting to know the wider team, and understanding how we can collaborate most effectively on future opportunities.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity or challenge in your area of work?
One of the biggest opportunities – and challenges I see in my area of work is navigating an evolving regulatory landscape and increasing market uncertainties, especially those driven by the energy transition, digitalisation, and the need for resilience. While there’s a growing appetite for infrastructure investment, deal complexity is also rising.
That creates a significant opportunity for advisory teams like Operis to add value — offering strategic input and innovative financing solutions to help clients structure more robust, bankable, and future-proof deals. The challenge lies in staying ahead of industry trends, anticipating risks, and continuously adapting advisory approaches to deliver robust, value-driven outcomes for clients
