Connect Plus (M25) Limited, in charge of the M25 widening project which closed in 2009, has agreed a variation to the project with the Highways Agency.
The M25 is the orbital motorway around London and attracts up to 200,000 vehicles per day. The original widening contract had plans to widen the sections of the motorway between junctions 16-23 and junctions 27-30, as well as maintaining the M25 motorway and the Dartford Crossing for a 30 year concession. The variation to the project involves the Later Upgraded Section (LUS) scheme, extending the area of the M25 to be widened.
Operis audited the financial model at financial close of the original project in 2009 and has provided financial model auditing services for this variation.
