The consortiums competing for the Liege Tram PPP in Belgium submitted their final bids on September 15, 2014.
The Liege Tram project, procured by the Walloon Regional Transport Company, involves the design, build and maintenance of an 18km tramline, a depot and the trams, for the project which is to be located in Liège.
The project is expected to reach financial close by the end of 2014 with the operational period commencing in 2017.
Operis were pleased to have worked with the LegiaExpress consortium, comprising Vinci, Meridiam Infrastructure, Bombardier and CFE, by undertaking a full model audit at the final bid submission.
