The Kirklees Social Housing project reached financial close on 20 December 2011.
The project involves the construction and ongoing management of ‘extra care’ and 1-2 bedroom council homes in Kirklees, near Huddersfield in the UK. Although the total construction period is 30 months, the first home is expected to be finished within 10 months of financial close. The properties will be managed for a further 20 years after construction is complete.
Operis provided model auditing services for the joint sponsors in Regenter and Wates PFI Investments, and the lenders Nationwide, Co-operative bank and Nord LB.
