The CA$350 million Kelowna and Vernon Hospitals Project reached financial close on 20 August 2008.
The project involves a 30 year concession to design, construct, finance and maintain extensions of two existing hospitals, Kelowna General Hospital and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Operis reviewed the financial model on behalf of the Infusion Health consortium which comprises a joint venture between project sponsors John Laing Investments Limited and Bilfinger Berger, and the lenders Dexia Credit Local and Royal Bank of Canada.
