Elk Falls, a consortium comprising Brookfield, Fiera Axium, OPB, Gracorp and CC&L, have submitted their bid for a long-term contact with BC Hydro to design, build, and maintain a new , replacement 135MW hydroelectric power generating station on Vancouver Island, Canada.
It is anticipated that construction will take 5 years and will be operated by the winning bidder for a period of 15 years.
Operis performed a full model audit on behalf of Elk Falls as part of their final bid, which was submitted on 6 September 2013.
