Operis recently provided a model audit of Balfour Beatty’s operating model for the Islington Building Schools for the Future PFI project, which reached financial close in December 2007 and has recently finished construction.
The scheme involves the construction and maintenance of two schools and provision of IT services for the schools for Islington Borough Council, in north London. These schools are the first phase of the Islington BSF programme which has a total capital value of £150m.
The model audit was performed for the benefit of Balfour Beatty Capital and the project lenders.
