The Irish Courts PPP successfully reached financial close on December 18, 2015.
The project involves the development of four new courthouses in Drogheda, Letterkenny, Limerick and Wexford as well as the substantial refurbishment and extension of existing courthouses in Cork, Mullingar and Waterford. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2017 and the project concession period runs until 2042.
Senior debt for the project is being provided by BTMU and Talanx Asset Management and the equity is being provided by BAM. NDFA is the procuring authority for the deal.
Operis was pleased to undertake an audit of the financial model representing the transaction, including a review of the model’s tax and accounting, for the senior lenders, BAM, and the NDFA.
