International Public Partnerships reached financial close on February 13, 2019, for the refinancing of Phase 1 of the Blackburn Building Schools for the Future project.
Building Schools for the Future was a British government programme to invest in secondary school buildings across England with chosen private sector partners through Local Education Partnerships (LEPs). Phase 1 of the Blackburn BSF project involved the design, build, financing and maintenance of 2 schools in the Blackburn area.
Operis was pleased to provide model audit services in the refinancing of this project, including a review of the tax and accounting treatments within the model.
