Operis is delighted to have played a key role as co-financial advisor, alongside ACS, supporting Groupe Nouveau Pont in reaching financial close for the Île-Aux-Tourtes Bridge Reconstruction Project. Groupe Nouveau Pont comprises Dragados Canada, Roxboro Excavation, and Construction Demathieu Bard.
With a value of $2 billion, the Project involves the design, construction, and finance of the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge between Vaudreuil-Dorion and Senneville in the Province of Québec, as well as the deconstruction of the original bridge. The bridge spans 6 lanes of traffic extending approximately 2km across Le Lac des Deux Montagnes and is the main transportation link between Montreal and the Province of Ontario.
Charles-André Gonthier, who leads the advisory team in Operis’s Toronto office, said: ”We are very proud to have supported our clients in achieving financial close for this project which is a key infrastructure piece that will improve the connection between two major parts of Canada”.
