Bids were submitted on January 10, 2014, for the Hertfordshire, Luton and Reading Priority Schools project. This project is the first of five batches of schools in procurement under the UK Government’s Private Finance 2 initiative as part of the Priority Schools Building Programme. The project involves the rebuilding seven existing schools followed by the operation and maintenance for a 25 year period.
Operis was engaged by Wates to review their financial model used to price its bid for the project.
