The Golden Link Partners, comprising Hochtief and Meridiam Infrastructure, submitted their bid for the Presidio Parkway P3 Project on the 6th October 2010.
Presidio Parkway is an access road to the Golden Gate Bridge in California. It will replace Doyle Drive, the existing access road which was built in 1933 and is now rated 2 out of 100 in structural sufficiencies.
This bid is for Phase II construction. Phase I construction, already underway, involves work on the new road and the construction of a temporary bypass in preparation for Phase II construction. Phase II construction will cover all the remaining work on the new road and the deconstruction of Doyle Drive.
The construction is expected to last for three and a half years and is intended to begin in September 2011. The total length of concession is 33 years.
