First State Investments has agreed to acquire Digita Oy, Finland’s leading broadcast network company from TDF.
Digita is Finland’s national terrestrial television network operator and provides digital television services for the likes of national public broadcaster YLE. Finnish telecom operator DNA is its smaller rival.
Once the deal is completed, which is pending Finnish government approval, Digita Oy will be part of First State Investment’s European infrastructure Fund.
Operis was engaged by First State Investments to provide financial model due diligence services on the financial model used in the acquisition process.
