St.Helens BSF reached financial close on 2 December 2010. The project is the first stage of the BSF scheme in St. Helens Metropolitan Borough, northwest England, which involves the maintenance for 25 years of De La Salle Catholic High School and Rainford Technology College with construction scheduled to be completed in December 2012.
The project involves approximately £32m in debt provided by the Co-operative Bank.
Operis was engaged by Interserve and the Co-operative Bank to provide financial model due diligence services as well as tax & accounting review for the financial close stage after successfully working with Environments for Learning at the bidding stage.
