On June 9, 2014, bids were submitted for the redevelopment of the A12 between Ede-Grijsoord, near Arnhem in the east of the Netherlands.
In order to increase the road’s traffic capacity, the EUR 100 million highway project will see approximately 11km of road widened from two to three lanes.
With construction expected to start in 2015 and due to be completed by 2017, the project also includes a maintenance contract of approximately 27 years.
Operis are pleased to have completed a full financial model audit and review of the Dutch accounting for the bidding consortium Meridiam Infrastructure Managers and Strukton Integrale Projecten B.V.
