Coventry Street Lighting Refinancing Reaches Financial Closes 29 Nov 2019

Operis was pleased to act as financial advisor to Connect Roads Coventry, a project company owned by Equitix and Balfour Beatty, which recently refinanced £45m worth of debt relating to a street lighting PFI scheme with Coventry City Council. Senior debt was provided by NordLB.

The project originally reached financial close in 2010 and involves the replacement of 28,700 street lights as well as 5,400 bollards and traffic signs.
