Bids will be submitted today for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) project. CAMH is Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital, located in the City of Toronto. The project is the first phase of CAMH’s ten-year redevelopment plan and will consist of the decommissioning and demolition of an existing building and substation as well as the construction of three new mental health and addictions care buildings with a combined total area of approximately 540,000 square feet.
The construction phase of the project is expected to last between two and a half and three years. Once construction is complete the winning consortium will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the buildings for a further thirty years.
The procuring authority for the project is Infrastructure Ontario.
Operis provided financial model auditing services to the Integrated Team Solutions consortium, which consists of EllisDon Corporation and Fengate Capital Management. The financial model was built by RBC.
