Bids for the Central 70 P3 project were submitted on August 1, 2017. The project proposes to construct a 10-mile stretch of the I-70, removing old infrastructure and expanding the highway. The aim of the Central 70 project is to rejuvenate the local neighbourhood and create public spaces such as a four acre cover park.
The project was proposed by the Colorado Department of Transportation. Four consortia were shortlisted as preferred bidders.
On behalf of Cintra, the sole Equity member of I-70 Mile High Partners, Operis provided a full audit of the financial model prior to bid submission, which included a review of tax and accounting treatments.
