Bids for the design, build, finance and maintenance of the eastern extension of Highway 407 (Phase 2), a toll expressway that bypasses Toronto to the north, were submitted on September 30th, 2014.

The highway, which will extend from Harmony Road in Oshawa to Highway 35/115 in Clarington, will consist of 8 interchanges and a 10km north-south section connecting Highway 407 to Highway 401. The project should be completed by 2020.

In support of Cintra and Holcim’s bid, Operis were pleased to undertake a full model audit which included a review of the model’s tax and accounting prior to submission.
