Bids have been submitted for the construction of Dublin’s Institute of Technology’s (DIT) new campus in Dublin’s north inner city area of Grangegorman on November 28, 2014.

The preferred bidder will be responsible for the consolidation of the DIT into a single campus, including the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance of the Central Quad building (College of Science and Health) and the East Quad building (College of Arts). The project will have a concession period of 25 years and will be located 1.5 km north west of Dublin’s city centre.

The winning bidder will be selected in February 2015 and the project is expected to reach financial close in October 2015. Construction will begin shortly after and once completed shall comprise a total internal floor area of approximately 50,000 sqm with capacity to accommodate around 10,000 students.

In support of the Kajima Partnerships and InfraRed Capital Partners consortium, Operis were pleased to undertake an audit of their financial model , which included a review of the model’s tax and accounting.
