On May 21, 2014, bids were submitted for the St Michael’s Hospital redevelopment P3 project in Ontario, Canada.
At the centrepiece of the project is a new 17 storey patient care tower that will connect to the hospital’s existing 85-year-old building. Whilst increasing the hospital’s capacity, the project is also aimed at making better use of the existing facilities.
Overall, the project is expected to comprise six years of construction, with the patient care tower expected to be completed within three years.
In support of EllisDon’s bid, Operis were delighted to have performed a model audit prior to bid submission, which included a review of taxes.
