Bids were submitted on July 23, 2015 for the design, build, financing, operation and maintenance of a residual waste treatment facility capable of dealing with up to 190,000 tonnes of residual waste per annum within the Clyde Valley area of Scotland.
Authorities involved in the waste scheme include East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
Procured by North Lanarkshire Council, the target service commencement date is anticipated to be around December 2019.
